Despite Nike pushing the Dunk Low silhouette to near exhaustion, its made-for-skate alternative made for skating hasn’t lost any steam. Both collaborations and skate-shop only releases are in heavy demand, particularly due to the fat-tongued aesthetic and the impressive color-blocking that tends to be a specialty of Nike SB.Not unlike another SB Dunk revealed in late 2023, this upcoming release is built with buttery suedes from front to back, simply relying on a refreshed color-blocking scheme to do the heavy lifting. Royal Blue and a Malachite Green pair up on the upper — the former sitting as the base later and the latter accenting the Swoosh logos and the heel-tab. Nike then relies on a neutral shade of Phantom on the overlay, while the white midsole and gum outsole complete the classic skate shoe look.
