Though few have gotten their hands on Travis Scott’s Jordan Jumpman Jack, successive sets of images and the limited Grammy drop have built up a ton of anticipation for LaFlame’s first signature. With the release of the beige & brown version looming at the end of the month, we’re getting a new look at the other half of the debut plans with official photos of the Jordan Jumpman Jack “University Red.”With initial images surfacing last month, these largely confirm an outfit we were familiar with. However, the close angles highlight tumbled leather bracing the heel and dominating the tongue, with textile mesh landing underneath. The Travis Scott x Nike calling card, the Reverse Swoosh, remains on this silhouette. Its curvy construction is matched by a jagged midsole, interrupted where the outsole crashes over top in asymmetrical waves.In the periphery, these illuminate a few new details. A patterned insole drives home the co-branded that appears on the proper sneaker, with the Jumpman logo playfully given a “crown” a la the Cactus Jack logo seen at the heel. It’s a design philosophy mirrored on the special edition box, something shaping up as a constant for each Jumpman.
